After spending a long time playing mobile games in my younger days, I can say that Supercell’s games were truly inspiring and an absolute joy to play. I even dragged my little brother and father into them — and they became total monsters at it, climbing ranks and getting really invested! 😄
So, years later, after I had the chance to personally meet some of the amazing people from the company during the last THU event, I decided to create something inspired by their art — a small way to honor them through my own craft.
I’m excited to introduce you all to Thunder Princess (not the most original name, but pretty clear haha). She’s a concept for a new hero character belonging to the Electro Wizard and Electric Spirit family. ⚡
As you can see in the card UI, she summons these little baby spirits to play with, throwing sparks and thunder to damage enemy troops. But if you mess with her tiny friends, she’ll get furious and fight till the end to avenge them! 💥
It was quite a long project, as I really wanted to capture the game’s style while adding my own touch to it. I’m happy with how close it feels to the Supercell vibe in the end!
During the process, I explored a few different directions while working on the High Poly, refining the concept and strengthening its connection to the rest of the character roster. It was a great learning experience, and I’m proud of how it all came together!
I was also lucky to receive guidance and feedback from friends, along with some advice from people at Supercell — and I’m really proud of how it turned out. Thanks to everyone!! I truly enjoyed creating her ^^
